In this unit students will learn to be careful readers of articles that present differing opinions.
• To understand and form their own opinion as they read.
• To recognize if the author is stating a fact or an opinion.
• To identify if an advertisement is presenting both sides of the issue in a fair way.
• To discriminate the form and the content elements of an advertisement.

GENERATIVE QUESTION:

¿Why do television advertisements persuade to buy some products which are sometimes useless or unnecessary?
